There is nothing better in this world than reading a great and totally amazing book, Mended gave me everything I love in the perfect Cleida book list.
JL Drake didn't disappoint with this one. JL Drake has a way of making her characters so complex and irresistible that you become so emotionally invested in the story. I am not going to lie, there were a few scenes that tugged on my heartstrings and there might have been a tear or two. Some chapters were sad to read and some chapters bliss and happiness because finally Cole and Savannah found happiness, their relationship is quite rocky for what happened in her past. Cole and Savannah overcome quite a few obstacles and realize they are meant for each other, the love between them is so strong nothing could keep them away.
Cole Logan I love his stubbornness, sense humor, and confidence.
You'll slowly fall in love with Cole's family in Broken and Shattered but in Mended you know how strong and full of love he's family really is, also Mark and Keith are freaking amazing. I can't pick a favorite anymore I love them all.
Thank you for sharing this journey of Cole and Savannah with us, it was well worth all the emotions and waiting for the final outcome. Kudos to you! Looking forward to read more from you ❤️

I still don't have my laptop completely fixed to do the book review I would like for this trilogy, one of my absolute FAVS!!
Sooo, here goes, for what I can do from my nook. 

•••••I can't tell everyone how very much I have falling in love, not only with Cole and *MY* Savi (OMG, I want her to be my sister- what a great strong woman without being needy....whininnnny, or some girl I want to throttle around the throat!) Yes, *MY* Savi...but I have overwhelming attached emotions to the ENTIRE Blackstone family•••••

I am so DAMN GOOFY HAPPY that Jodi told us Mark, Keith and maybe another supporting character will be receiving their OWN BOOKS in SPIN-OFFS!!
It's the best news a dedicated fan can hear from one of her favorite authors about one of her most loved fictional familys! I loved the book from cover to cover. Jodi had a way of making me worry about Savi, be apprehensive regarding new people introduced...and scared that the next page was going to wreck me with a surprise. Yup, we know she does it!!That was GREAT!! A book should take you to the edge of one emotion and have you falling off the damn cliff with another, throughout this trilogy -thats EXACTLY what my emotions where doing. .........#emotionswrecked.......

I don't want to give any spoilers...so I'll just let you guys know that there was so much Cole and Savi and much more time dedicated directly to them, that I was soooooo okay knowing I had to let their story go at the end of the book. All of the loose ends were tied with a pretty little pink bow and handed to us, the readers with a delicate hand!!

COLE.....SWOOOOONNNNNNN!!! HOLY HELL! I didn't think I could love this man anymore. I. WAS. WRONG.

KEITH....You had me laughing my ass off at 230 am, out loud, to myself...I loved you even more in this last book. You habe become my FAV "big brother" xoxo EVERYTHING Keith felt && was dishing out (esp in the beginning..."aloof" LMAO, was just PRECIOUS!! How the hell did he sleep?? A-DAMN-DORABLE. I felt every look, glance, roll of the eyes and frustrated sound he made.

Yes, I cried. Ya'll knew I would...as if ya'll didn't know me and my LOVE for this trilogy and the BLACKSTONE family...what they represent, stand for, the intense love and loyalty they live and happiness for LIFE....and the OMG any man in a uniform is damn delicious, butttttt GIVE MEEEE the Green Berets!!!!!

Jodi, this has been one hella ride you have taken my dedicated reading heart on, please make sure you stop and pick me up for the next one!

Savi's life has been filled with lies, loss, death, betrayal, and heartache. Will she ever catch a break and get her happily ever after? Her and Cole are broken up and I hated it. I did understand that she needs to try and find herself, I just love them as a couple so it was hard for me to read. Cole is his glorious swoonworthy, dominant self maybe even more so in this book.

“You were spying on me?” He shakes his head. “I was protecting what’s mine.”

Savi has to deal with the drama from her cases while trying to find her place. Keith is the big brother she never had and I absolutely love him.
The ending couldn't be more perfect for Savi and Cole. This was an amazing series that I have read more than once and will be reading again!

BROKEN, SHATTERED, MENDED -- this trilogy need not have been so long nor need it have been a trilogy at all. By eliminating some of the repetitive sections, the book would have been a nice, long read that continued to rivet your attention and capture your imagination. The story was innovative and engaging, the characters well defined, but it had more explicit sexual content than was necessary to convey the bond, closeness and enfolding relationship between the main characters. Complicating such a tragic set of circumstances with too much steamy, hot sex dilutes the story explicit in the names of the books. In today's world of self-publishing, many writers seem to forego the rigid editing process that used to be undertaken by every publisher during the "processing" of a book from submission to publication. Many of today's books lack the professional editing that we are used to with hardcover and softcover books. I think this was a good effort, that could have been a great effort with professional editors to improve content.
